Pokémon V Cards

The big new feature of the Sword & Shield TCG expansion, which changed both how we play and how we collect, is waiting for just one thing: to land in your binder!

Released in late December 2019 in Japan, V cards represent the pre-form of the 8th generation's Dynamax (from the Galar region).

They work quite simply: they can be put straight into play, and once active you can turn them into VMAX, much like an evolution.

What do Pokémon V cards look like?

V cards have a large number of hit points (HP) and powerful attacks, stronger than almost all other basic cards. Their power level is fairly similar to GX cards, and like them, they give your opponent two Prize cards when Knocked Out.

As for the image, the Pokémon is shown across the whole card (there's no frame, just like the full arts of previous generations).

How do we ship your Pokémon cards to your address?

It's perfectly normal to wonder, given the value of TCG cards. We ship every card in a sleeve, locked inside a top loader (thicker plastic protection).

On top of that, we secure this plastic case between two pieces of cardboard to prevent any potential damage, and everything is sent in a padded envelope or a special box. You get it: we don't joke about protection here!
