What is Bandai Namco Union Arena?
Bandai has revealed details of an ambitious new game project, titled Union Arena, which aims to be an "all-in-one dream card game" featuring multiple anime series.
Anime currently announced for the game include Code Geass, Jujutsu Kaisen, Hunter x Hunter, Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, Bleach, TenSura, The IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors, and even games like Tales of Arise. These cards will be released on a monthly basis, starting with Jujutsu Kaisen, Code Geass and Hunter x Hunter which will be released as displays, decks and boosters.
About Union Arena
Union Arena is an upcoming TCG that features a wide range of anime properties , intersecting in the battle of a lifetime. These cards feature original artwork and scenes from the anime they belong to.
Players can build a deck of up to 50 cards, with duplicates of each card no larger than 4. At first glance, the game looks a bit like Pokémon, in that players place seven cards on a "play area." life". You win by exhausting all of your opponent's cards from the life zone by attacking them. Cards can be used to fight or refill energy to attack monsters.
Cards also have trigger effects even if placed in the lifezone, so you can also build your deck around these effects to surprise your opponent when they think they have the upper hand
IMPORTANT :
When creating your deck, you cannot merge cards from different sets. For example, you cannot create a deck with cards from both My Hero Academia and Hunter x Hunter.
