However, even with cards placed in protection right after opening the booster, some series have manufacturing defects from printing; these defects are considered original.

By our standards, a "pack fresh" card is a product with:

• little or no bending, warping or dents
• corners or edges without excessive whitening
• little or no print misalignment
• very slight or original defects that aren't excessive

Even if defects are barely visible individually but may be visible by comparison, these cards are still treated as good-quality cards.
